•Four BMR Drivers Finish In Top 10 In K&N West Race
ROSEVILLE, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2014) – Christian PaHud made the most of his debut in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, winning the Toyota/NAPA AUTO PARTS 150 at All American Speedway on Saturday. PaHud, who also won the Coors Light Pole Award in qualifying for the event, became the fourth different driver to win a series race for Bill McAnally Racing this season. The 21-year-old from Dayton, Ohio had earned the opportunity to compete in BMR’s No. 99 PEAK Toyota at Roseville by winning this year’s PEAK Stock Car Dream Challenge. “Me and (crew chief) Roger (Bracken) got this thing dialed in last Thursday and Friday and we made a few minor adjustments this morning,” PaHud said of their test sessions at the third-mile track a week before the race. “Come qualifying time, we weren’t really sure we had, because in practice we missed it just a little bit. But we got a good run. I made a few adjustments to help us out in qualify

The 25-year-old from nearby Erie wheeled his Bill McAnally Racing No. 99 NAPA Filters/H2O Fire Protection Toyota out front early and then chose the outside line on restarts to successfully fend off challenges for the lead. “All the NAPA AUTO PARTS guys and NAPA Filters guys worked so hard,” said Eggleston. “The whole Bill McAnally Racing team gave me a great car for tonight’s 150. It was just stellar. We struggled a little bit in practice on the short runs, but this car was phenomenal on the long runs.” Eggleston, who has competed in Super Late Models and won the Legends division title at the 3/8-mile Colorado track just north of Denver, credi ... read more

The 18-year-old series rookie from Mooresville, N.C., – making his first start on the .875-mile high-banked oval in Newton, Iowa – charged from 11th on the grid and worked his way through the field to take the runner-up spot behind race winner Ben Rhodes. “Once we got to second, I think we were just as good as him,” said Drake, whose previous best series finish came last month at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway, where he was third. “We just never got a caution to get the chance to get around him. Starting that far back and starting on the front row, that’s what the race came down to.
