(Feb. 18, 2014) – Bill McAnally Racing drivers Brandon McReynolds and Nick Drake made a hard charge to the front to finish third and fourth in NASCAR K&N Pro Series East competition at the UNOH Battle At The Beach at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Tuesday night. McReynolds made the biggest gain in the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry, rocketing from 19th on the grid to take third – while Drake methodically moved from his 11th-place starting position to finish fourth in the No. 15 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry. UNOH Battle At The Beach To Be Broadcast Live On TV And Radio ROSEVILLE, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2014) – A trio of drivers from Bill McAnally Racing are headed to their second race in three days as the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East completes a doubleheader with the UNOH Battle At The Beach at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The event, staged on a .37-mile oval on the backstretch at the “World Center of Racing,” follows two days after the series opened its season at nearby New Smyrna Speedway on Sunday. BMR drivers Nick Drake, Brandon McReynolds and Patrick Staropoli are among the field of competitors who will be challenging for the $20,000 winner’s purse in the prestigious event, which is part of Budweiser Speedweeks 2014 at Daytona. (Jan. 9, 2014) – Bill McAnally Racing, a championship team in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West with five series titles, has announced plans to expand into the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East with a multi-car effort in 2014. ROSEVILLE, Calif. (Jan. 7, 2014) – Brandon McReynolds has been named to drive the Bill McAnally Racing No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota Camry in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West for 2014. The 22-year-old driver from Mooresville, N.C., returns to BMR after registering one top-five and two top-10 finishes in two series starts with the team last season. McReynolds, the son of former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series crew chief and current race analyst with FOX Sports Larry McReynolds, also has two top-five and seven top-10 finishes in 12 starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. In June of 1953, Herb Thomas spoiled a dominant effort by Lee Petty to win a race in the series now known as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at a newly-opened Five Flags Speedway.
