(Dec. 10, 2016) – Todd Gilliland and Bill McAnally Racing were honored for winning the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship during the NASCAR Night of Champions Touring Awards on Saturday night at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Crown Ballroom in Charlotte, North Carolina. Gilliland of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina had a record-setting rookie season in which he became the youngest champion in the history of the series, at 16 years 5 months old; as well as establishing a NASCAR record as the youngest champion in any NASCAR national or touring series. (Nov. 28, 2016) – With the 2016 season complete at Bill McAnally Racing and the focus beginning to shift to next season, BMR President Bill McAnally took some time recently to reflect on the success of the team and its past. BMR faced a big task in 2016, with four full-time teams in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West and a fifth team that raced a limited schedule. In addition, two of the teams also competed in select races in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. Despite the challenge, BMR had one of its most successful seasons – winning a record seventh K&N West championship and scoring victories in nine races overall in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series. • K&N Pro Series West Action At Meridian Speedway MERIDIAN, Idaho (Sept. 24, 2016) – Todd Gilliland grabbed the lead in a wild green-white-checkered finish to win the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West NAPA AUTO PARTS Idaho 208 at Meridian Speedway on Saturday. • K&N Pro Series West Double Header On Road Course TOOELE, Utah (Sept. 11, 2016) – Todd Gilliland came away with a pair of runner-up finishes over the weekend as the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West held a double header on the Utah Motorsports Campus road course with back-to-back races on Saturday and Sunday. Gilliland led the field to the white flag on Sunday and appeared headed for the win in the Bill McAnally Racing No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry, before contact from the second-place car send him off course. K&N Pro Series West Returns To Oregon Track ROSEBURG, Ore. (Aug. 27, 2016) – Riley Herbst led the charge for Bill McAnally Racing at Douglas County Speedway on Saturday, finishing third in the Toyota / NAPA AUTO PARTS 150 – an event that marked the return of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West to Roseburg, Oregon. It was Herbst’s third straight third-place finish, a career-best mark for the 17-year-old rookie from Las Vegas who pilots the No. 19 NOS Energy Drink Toyota Camry. “We had to battle to get to the bottom the whole race, it felt like,” Herbst said of the preferred lower groove around the 3/8-mile track. “It was like we could never catch a break, but when we got to the bottom we were moving forward – passing cars left and right.
